November 2011:  Global Harvest

We all participated as we were asked to bring items
from other nations for display.
We focused on the international call of
missions and how many of the local women have played
a part in it.  But beyond international missions,
the point was made that missions begins across
the table and in our homes as we ‘go tell’ our own
daily worlds of Jesus.
We had a wonderful response with items being brought in from dozens of countries. 
At our fellowship time, women we encouraged to share with group their personal experiences in mission trips and how it affected their lives.
  As a reminder of those around the world
who are hungry,
our refreshments for the evening were
Jon's  freshly baked bread and Kenya tea.
