July 2012: I Cannot Come

Summer colors of pink, orange, green, purple and blue covered the tables in our fellowship area.  The tables were brightly dressed and napkins designed with fruit wedges were set on each one's place.  Our centerpieces were sweet and juicy watermelon wedges ... not to eat but rather to hold brightly colored summer
flowers atop!

Our dessert was a fun shaped wedge of watermelon -- with a twist!  The wedge was actually sherbet of red and green shaped into a wedge ... cool and refreshing on a hot summer's day.

Our message was, "I Cannot Come."  We were all challenged by the Word to examine our hearts to know just why it is we are choosing to hold back from coming completely to Jesus.
